Congratulations to Ollie for a comfortable test pass in Grantham today. Ollie started learning to drive with BIG TOM from scratch, doing pay as you go driving lessons, and his approach to learning to drive is something of a role model for successful outcomes.
Ollie was practising all over on his driving lessons: Spalding, Peterborough, Stamford, Sleaford and Grantham, he embraced the idea of practising in different driving conditions. And his efforts paid off today as he said after passing his driving test, that he thought it was quite easy really.
Ollie did a mock test with his instructor Tom on Friday (3 days ago) where Tom approved him for taking a test. Ollie then searched the DVSA driving test booking system online that same evening, and discovered a cancelled test slot for today, just 3 days later!
His instructor said this having observed Ollie’s driving test:
“Ollie did make that test look easy, there were no great dramas at all. I would say that his whole approach to learning has been exemplary, and unsurprising in my experience, pupils like Ollie do pass quite comfortably. He only committed three minor driving errors today, and that is a good standard of driving. I wish him many years of safe driving.”
